JOB SUMMARY
Manages operations staff and provides strategic, operational leadership and oversight for all clinical, educational, and research operations tasks and responsibilities such as, scheduling and timekeeping, facilities management, procurement and supply chain, faculty recruitment, adherence to policy, operational analysis and reporting, and budget preparation and execution. Expected to provide insight to leadership based on the interpretation of operations. Serves as department/center liaison to internal leadership and external groups. Must meet the established criteria based on budget, staff and faculty size for use. The candidate for this role in the department of Anesthesiology will be responsible for complex, multi-site clinical operations, including provider scheduling, workforce planning, staffing models, ambulatory operations, and clinical contracts, while partnering with physician and divisional leaders to optimize operating room throughput, improve productivity, and ensure operational compliance. Utilizes data-driven approaches to support strategic growth, enhance operational performance, and deliver high-performing, patient-centered clinical services across the department’s expanding clinical enterprise.
